Cheers to the big 3-0! Kate is a kind, generous, and Jesus-loving princess who graduated from Princeton. To celebrate the momentous occasion, Kate’s friends and family traveled from near and far – DC, California, Alaska, and one even flew from London! This divine celebration was prayed over and blessed with an abundance of fun and pure joy.
This birthday celebration was an aligned connection as Kate and Sarah were introduced through their mutual friend, Kelsey. How amazing is it that SBE had the honor of planning BOTH Kelsey and Kate’s 30th birthday parties?! We cannot wait to plan their next big celebrations! 😉
This was our first event at Saint Elle, and we can say that it won’t be our last. The blank canvas made it the perfect backdrop for Curated Events rentals. Kate’s party was one for the books. It was filled with all of her favorite people, beautiful colors, and high-energy FUN!
As guests arrived, they were met by the valet crew from Trinity Parking, and greeted by the Social Bliss team. Guests were given name tags with a fill in the blank with “How I know Kate” or “My Connection to the Event” description. A Catered Affair passed appetizers, and conversation starters were scatted on the tables to encourage guests to mix and mingle. Kate featured 3 signature mocktails: Apple Ginger Soda, Blackberry Fruit Tea, and Hibiscus Lemonade. They were delicious, and we 10 out of 10 recommend! Apple Ginger was the crowd pleaser of the evening.
Letter Bright was onsite featuring Kate’s initials, of course, the #30, and GP for the nonprofit, Gospel Patrons. Inflated by Tiwana added balloons to the letters, and curated the cutest gold selfie backdrop. The biggest hit of the evening was the balloon drop!!! These pictures by Olivia Dixon Photography will have us reliving this day for decades to come.
The hostess wore a bright and bedazzled dress from The Showroom Nashville. The Glam Nashville team handled makeup and hair for Kate, her mom, and Renee of Gospel Patrons. Flourishing Flowers brought remarkable colorful flowers, and she even painted gold Monstera leaves. Mari’s work is always a masterpiece. At the end of the evening, Kate gifted family and friends with all of the beautiful florals.
Y’all, we were not ready for this phenomenal cake from Baked in Nashville. It was a dream come true for Kate. Pictures do not do the custom cake justice, and we cannot wait for the video from Wade Hodges Media to show you the intricate details and thought that went in to this spectacular treat. Kate wanted her cake to reflect memories of her past 3 decades so she incorporated – Disney, softball, books, The Bible, and many fun details.
As the crowd finished their stationed dinner, they listened intently as John and Renee Rinehart from Gospel Patrons spoke about their mission and the impact Kate has made. Then, everyone got together for a group shot before Jacob from Future Boy Creative turned on the dance tunes. Future Boy also provided the photo booth which was a hit all night.
This evening was one for the books! Everyone had a blast sharing stories, testimonies, and so many selfies together. We can’t wait to celebrate Kate for many years to come. We are so excited for what the next decade has in store for her admirable soul.
We’re here to bring the calm to the chaos and lots of fun your next event!
