Celebrating your marriage is such a special day. Julia + Jared made sure fun and family were the top priorities. There were so many intentional moments that made this wedding feel like home. The outdoor ceremony took place at Julia’s sister’s house (also the Matron-of-honor) in Franklin, Tennessee. The gorgeous rentals from Southern Events and elegant arrangements from our friends at Flourishing Flowers transformed the back yard. Even despite a little morning mist, the rain held off for the day.
Julia was living her fantasy day. She was overflowing with joy — twirling, laughing, smiling from ear to ear, drinking champagne (Julia’s fav), and celebrating with their closest friends in the name of LOVE. The home’s natural lighting was beautiful and Jon Taylor Sweet Photography captured it perfectly.
Julia was absolutely radiant in her dress from Adorn Bridal and R&Co Beauty glammed the bride. There were 4 first looks, and we still don’t know which one was our favorite — the bridesmaids, her grandmother, who they passionately call Abuela, Julia’s Dad, and, of course, Jared. One special aspect Julia incorporated was to have the bridesmaids watch the couple’s sweet moment from the balcony.
We told you the bride loves champagne. Cheers to forever! Hill Rentals provided the champagne wall and reception backdrop.
Jared is a talented musician, and after their first look, he played a song he had written for Julia. There was not a dry eye in the room. Fellow musician, Sarah Reeves, played their ceremony tunes, and Julia’s niece and nephew were also in the wedding party, making it a full family affair!
This wedding party was so supportive, energetic and lively. This may have been our best bridal party ever!
What could be better? Marrying your best friend with your favorite girls and guys standing beside you!
The ceremony was extra special as Julia’s Abuela officiated. She wove in stories and details that only a grandmother could. During the ceremony, the couple shared communion, exchanged vows and, of course, had their first kiss!
After the ceremony, the couple grabbed photos around the property. What a stunning view!
As guests made their way to downtown Nashville for the reception, the bride and groom took a fun cruise in a vintage car. The photo opportunities were endless.
They arrived at the Twelve Thirty Club for the reception where delicious food, drinks, dancing, and heartfelt speeches by multiple family members were enjoyed.
After Rooftop singing and Honky Tonk dancing, they stayed the night at the Noelle, another one of our local favorites! Cheers Mr. & Mrs. Taylor!
We always love to include the backstory of how we met our couples! Sarah and Julia met years ago at small group. They kept in touch through their mutual friend, Meaghan, who was also a bridesmaid in Julia’s wedding. After Jared proposed, Julia contacted Sarah, and they met at Restoration Hardware (duh, Sarah’s favorite) to discuss all things wedding. This night was one for the books, and it was an honor to play a small role in making Julia + Jared’s wedding dreams come true.
