The only thing we enjoy more than celebrating love is honoring a woman who values her story and journey. Making it to milestone 7-0 is a blessing!!! The team packed up and headed to Augusta, Georgia to lavishly honor Mrs. Deborah. Her family and friends gathered at the Shriner’s Lodge to celebrate the woman of the hour. Mrs. Deborah’s 90 year old mom (in red) was also in attendance, and she shared stored about laying flooring at the venue many decades ago. We absolutely loved seeing her dance the night away on it again!
Mrs. Deborah looked beautiful in her blue ballgown and fur. Her makeup was done by Teanna, The Glamologist.
Upon arrival, guests signed the guest book and enjoyed a grazing charcuterie spread. The tables were set with stunning centerpieces created by florals by Annie. Guests danced the night away and played the game “Who knows Deborah best?” with DJ Brandi Renae Company, who is a one stop shop for multiple party needs. Mrs. Deborah even gave away prizes to the winners (on her birthday).
The fantastic team at Grace 4 Taste served a delicious meal of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni, green beans, sweet potato casserole, salad, and rolls. During dinner, two heartfelt speeches were given by her best friend and daughter.
Mrs. Deborah’s daughter, Natalyn, lives in Nashville and connected Sarah and Mrs. Deborah. They became fast friends during the year of planning.
Reborn Kreationz worked his camera magic, taking a huge family photo and inviting guests to capture a pink carpet moment. The gorgeous backdrop was provided by Confetti Co. Ballons.
To end the evening, everyone gathered to sing happy birthday to the queen. Mrs. Deborah gave a final farewell sharing words of love and hope. The night ended while playing her favorite song Goodness of God by CeCe Winans.
