How to Recycle your Florals // Insider Insights

No matter the event size or kind; flowers are a sweet and important touch, but what do you do with them when you are done? Our team member Daisy has especially struggled with floral waste for decades so we are here to help preserve some of those precious petals !

First off, make the most of your flowers by using them for photo props, placing vases for bouquets on tables, using the same arrangement for the welcome table then switching it to the bar or cake table after, and even using your aisle flowers as your centerpieces.

3 ways to Repurpose and Recycle your Event Flowers:

  1. Give them away to guests as they exit  – we recommend buying the vases from the florist so you can easily give away or use. If not, bring vases from home or purchase clear solo cups for guests to easily take with them.
  2. Give them to your neighbors, teachers, or coworkers – who doesn’t love fresh flowers? It’s a great way to brighten anyone’s day. Leave a cute little note too!
  3. Take to a nursing home or hospital, if the patients can’t accept them, the nurses gladly will.

Insider Insight – Be prepared with a clear backseats and trunk plus something to tie or hold them if you’re going to take all of the flowers.
