Social Bliss Events had the honor of planning, managing, and executing an evening filled with purpose, storytelling, and heartfelt generosity. The From Your Father fundraiser at Ravenswood Mansion brought the community together in support of a powerful mission: raising funds for a future home that will serve mothers and children navigating life without a father in the home. Every detail of the evening was intentionally designed to immerse guests into the heart behind From Your Father’s work, transforming the historic mansion into a meaningful, interactive experience.
As guests entered Ravenswood, they were welcomed into beautifully curated spaces that represented a different layer of support the From Your Father team provides to families. Inside the nursery, kitchen, clothing, and resource rooms, actors and live storytelling moments helped bring these experiences to life. This allowed attendees to walk through the realities many mothers and children face every day. Guests explored each room while enjoying passed appetizers before transitioning outside to a stunning tented dinner experience.
The evening continued with a salad activation on the porch before guests gathered under the tent for dinner catered by Sow Good. Ivory linens, terracotta accents, florals by Thirty Plus Events, and rentals from Grand Tents and Events created a beautiful atmosphere that complemented the mission. Throughout the evening, powerful stories and surprise moments created an emotional and unforgettable experience for every guest in attendance.
Markeith Braden emceed the evening and keynote speaker, Derek Young, reminded attendees of the hope, healing, and community impact that “super moms” create. One of the most moving moments of the evening came during the final fundraising ask, as guests were invited to raise symbolic keys in support of helping open the doors to a future home for the families served by From Your Father.
