We were thrilled to join the United Way Nashville team for our second year in a row bringing the Ignite! Awards, for local teachers, to life.
We took over 14Tenn with rentals from Grand Party Central, alcohol from Cool Springs Wine, and catering by The Southern Spoon. Soothing music was provided by Southern Strings and really set the mood for the evening.
The host Lauren Lowrey, a news anchor in Nashville and champion of women in the community, brings a sweet and uplighting presence as a mom and cheerleader of teachers!
Teachers were nominated from schools all over Davidson County based on their commitment to their students and community. They are celebrated for their impact and given an opportunity to share their story and inspiration.
The 3 awards and winners this year were:
Early Educator of the Year: Ghislaine Kinzounza, Glen Leven Presbyterian Church Day School
Beginning Beacon Educator: Jacob Pursell, Susan Gray School
ECE Legislative Champion: Senator Charlane Oliver
