Corner to Corner 2025 Graduation at Belmont

If you haven’t heard about the hype, encouraging, and empowering nonprofit, Corner to Corner, click the link to their website or keep reading. You can also check out 3 past graduations: fall 2024, spring 2024, fall 2023! This year’s theme was Family Reunion, and it couldn’t be more perfect because this crew definitely feels like family.

As always the party started in the parking lot! We had the front lawn of the Curb Center at Belmont University full of family and friends coming to celebrate their graduates. The Liquid Chef was serving delicious drinks, while Mason’s Hotdogs, and 3 Sisters Sorbet fed the crowd. We even had a vegan chick pea curry from Island Jerk Flava. Guests were also invited to play lawn games, cards, and the kids loved face painting. Beyond Desserts Catering provided the Corner to Corner team with a beautiful lunch spread in the Vince Gill room which later became our donors section and presentation.

Inside the atrium, DJ 50 Cyn had the party popping with line dancing. The grandma’s living room photo booth was a hit! The area also housed graduation check-in and an alumni section. Lipscomb Counseling Center for Play Therapy and Expressive Art Services was there sharing resources as well.

LaMarvelous always comes through with his fabulous balloons! Creative Soulz Printing added the family reunion crest stickers to customize the balloons. Plus, Thomas printed all signage, doors and banners. Hey Hey Creative‘s team helped make our stage design dream comes true and lit with LED Marquee numbers. DK Event Solutions provided our audio, video, and streaming services for those who could not attend in person, and DJ Ladarius Taylor played the jams in the auditorium.

The graduates entered by class through the basketball tunnels. Bulldog Custom Tees printed the awesome, custom graduate t-shirts. Each person proudly walked across the stage to receive their diploma and received a copy of Corner to Corner’s Co-Founder and Author Will Acuff’s book, “No Elevator to Everest.”

In between classes walking the stage, 5 graduates had the opportunity to pitch their business to judges sitting on the front row. This gave them the chance to win a check and a massive Love Basket Express gift basket. We are so grateful Donzaleigh and Reneka Swims were there to capture all of the special moments.

This was our first year to have someone from the Social Bliss Events team graduate the program, and we can’t wait to see what next semester has in store! We’ll see y’all in the fall.
