Supporting Givebacks x Aura // Family Cyberbullying Awareness Night in Nashville and Boston

We had the pleasure of teaming up with the Aura X Givebacks teams to bring the anti cyberbullying awareness event to John F. Kennedy Middle School. The Nashville event went so well, the team traveled to Franklin High School in Boston, MA to produce the second event.

Upon arrival, guests were welcomed by the SBE team and entered into an iPad raffle. While the adults headed to the gym for training, the kids went to the cafeteria for a variety of activities to keep them engaged and raise awareness.

Inflated by Tiwana‘s balloons made all of the entrances and stage POP! Channel Audio provided AV assistance to our speaker, Noah. Fiorella curated the floral centerpieces that parents were able to take home. Grand Central Party Rentals provided all of the rentals and helped the event come together. While Nicola Harger captured the special moments and details.

During the session, parents were very engaged. They asked questions, learned signs to recognize if their student is being bullied — while enjoying dinner from A Catered Affair.

The kid’s area is where the real magic happened.

Crack the Code was Zone 1 where students were introduced to the numerical binary alphabet, taught how to code their name, shown how to hack-proof passwords, and made bracelets. Zone 2, Doodle and Defend, included coloring sheets and an activity book with identity protecting advice. Finally, Zone 3 had Smart Cookies. This is was the most popular station where they decorated cookies from Baked in Nashville. Our team provided onsite support for interactive childcare.

We had such a good time connecting and celebrating this mission. We were thrilled to head to Boston to help with their next event!
