When Cortney and Shane asked for our help in planning their wedding, we enthusiastically said, “YES”. We rose to the challenge to celebrate their love with family and friends.
Like many couples, 2020 threw a curve ball. A celebration including 100+ of their closest friends quickly dwindled to a guest list of 25. We stepped in to coordination the cancellation of vendors and rescheduling of locations. While it wasn’t the original vision, the day was spectacular. Our goal was to, above all, make sure that Cortney and Shane received the celebration they deserved.
Thanks to technology, the couple was able to share their special day with loved ones that were unable to be present. Zoom and Instagram live videos were set up for guests to enjoy the ceremony and interact with the happy couple. When life doesn’t go as planned, we make the best out of it. Cortney and Shane were troopers!
We encourage all of our couples to step away for a stunning golden hour photoshoot. The photos turned out beautiful and look at that Nashville skyline.
Dinner was catered by Chipotle; one of Cortney and Shane’s favorites. Yummmm – who doesn’t love tacos?! Our mouths are also watering over this cake, which was simple, yet classic.
One of the highlights of the day was witnessing Cortney’s first look and first dance with her father. These were both important and intimate moments for the bride. How sweet.
Shane was also able to share a special dance with his mother at the reception.
Despite all the obstacles, Cortney and Shane were able to have everything that was important to them on their special day. Cheers to a day of love, rap dance parties, and being united in marriage with Jesus at the center of it all.
Mr. & Mrs. Lantigua, this is just the beginning.
